Stress for young athletes can come in many different shapes and sizes. So, what must you know about stress?
In this episode of Athlete Maestro I break down the difference between stress and pressure. Why young athletes seem to mistake both. We also discuss the strategies you can use to overcome stressful situations in your career.
For many young athletes, stress is the reason they fail to perform to their best or give inconsistent performances.
Stress for young athletes is an inhibitor, something that prevents you from doing things your own way.
Every athlete goes through stress, life itself is stressful. Paying attention to it and avoiding it at all cost is a difference maker in terms of playing to your best and at the same time avoiding pressure.
Remember, knowing is not enough you must apply, willing is not enough you must do.
