EPISODE SIXTY ONE
“Everyone wants to win. But to truly succeed–whether it is at a sport or at your job or in life–you have to be willing to do the hard work, overcome the challenges, and make the sacrifices it takes to be the best at what you do.” – Ronda Rousey
Ronda, Ronda, Ronda. The most dominant champion in UFC history. You see, when you have male athletes talking about you then there’s something special in the mix. When you defend your title in stunning fashion, then there’s something special there.
Ronda seems to have everything, she seems to teach us everything. Even in defeat she is teaching us something and it is all of those lessons we talk about on today’s episode of the podcast.
This episode is very complete as we look at what made her special and then her lack of application of what made her special leading to her downfall.
3 KEY LESSONS

ACTION FOR TODAY
Ask yourself if you are excellent in your approach to sports.
Do you give everything to achieve your goals? Are you just going through the motions and the process or are you determined to succeed at all cost?
When you make excellence a habit you are not controlled by your moods or emotions, you go out there and give what you must in order to succeed.
So, the next you find yourself looking for an excuse not to give it everything, remember Ronda and begin to make excellence a habit.
