EPISODE SEVENTY
“my success isn’t a result of arrogance, it’s a result of belief” – Conor Mcgregor
We looked at him four months ago and we are looking at him again.
That should say something.
UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Champion Conor Mcgregor.
Mcgregor is special. Maybe not in the way many might think, but for Athlete Maestro in the way he approaches success in sports.
He doesn’t believe in talent, he believes in plain hard work. He believes in believing in yourself. He believes in confidence, he believes in positive self-talk.
Plain and simple, he believes in everything we share here on athlete maestro.
There is no better example.
He recently dared to be great by defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 202 in a Lightweight title fight to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two world titles in two weight divisions simultaneously. He is also the featherweight champion of the world.
Whether you call him cocky or arrogant it makes no difference, he is a success and all we deal with are successes.
Episode 70 we take a second look at Mcgregor and some more lessons we can learn from him.
