News broke over the weekend that Kobe along with his daughter and 8 others lost their lives in a helicopter crash.
Kobe Bryant’s mindset is legendary. If you’re an athlete or just a sports fan, you’ve heard of Mamba Mentality. It was Kobe’s way of ensuring that he was mentally alert at all time. A masters mental approach to the game.
The mamba mentality is what made him develop a relentless work ethic, its what made him train at 4am in the morning, its what made him a student of the game.
I’ve shared on the podcast that there’re three things you need to master to succeed in sports. The mental aspect, the physical aspect and developing a winning strategy and plan. Every other thing fall under these three broad headings.
Kobe mastered them all but what he was known for the most was the mental aspect.
On this episode of the show, I share five key lessons from that mindset.
Remember, knowing is not enough you must apply, willing is not enough you must do.
