Daniel Teklehaimanot is a cyclist from Eritrea. He is the first black African to race at the Tour De France. Cycling is not a sport you necessarily associate with Africans but he has done tremendously well for himself.
This is the 7th athlete we would look at in this series of African greats who have achieved success in sports.
For every young athlete out there his career is an example of why you must believe in your dream and start with what you have. Stop looking too far ahead and focus on your dream.
Daniel Teklehaimanot is a guy who started with a dream and never stopped. As a young athlete you must start somewhere and put in the work needed to achieve the goal.
So on today’s episode of Athlete Maestro I share three lessons from the career of Daniel Teklehaimanot and how you can apply it to your career.
Remember, knowing is not enough you must apply, willing is not enough you must do.
