Your mind is designed to protect you. Better still your mind would always focus on the negative things first. But as a young athlete you must know and understand that not everything bad is negative in sports.
You must learn to look at the bad situations that happen to you and take positives from it. What can you learn? Is there a lesson the experience is trying to teach you.
If like many other young athletes you close your mind off once something bad happens, you’re missing a massive opportunity to learn lessons that negative experiences can teach you.
So on today’s episode of Athlete Maestro, motivation is the order of the day and i want to encourage you to always think positive.
Remember, knowing is not enough you must apply, willing is not enough you must do.
