Who is Daniel Cormier? Daniel Cormier is the current UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion in Mixed Martial Arts. His career is a perfect example that dreams come true in sports. You might be asking, how do dreams come true in sports?
If Daniel Cormier’s career is anything to go by then you must follow certain principles in your career.
I share three of the principles he followed on this episode of the show. One in particular is that you must take your training seriously. You see, Daniel Cormier might not be the most talented UFC fighter in the world but one thing he never played with was his training.
The one time he took his training for granted he almost died. He failed to make the 2008 Beijing Olympics because of a kidney failure which came about because he didn’t take his training seriously. His dedication to his training led to his dreams coming true. So, how do dreams come true in sports? You work for it and give everything in order to succeed.
Today’s episode of the podcast is all about the lessons you can learn from Daniel Cormier and two other principles he lives by.
Remember, knowing is not enough you must apply, willing is not enough you must do.
