EP 184 – Jonny Wilkinson – Never Focus On Mistakes

May 7, 2018 by Tola

He was the darling of English Rugby. The David Beckham as they called him and he was a difference maker. There are so many things we can learn from his career but the one that stands out is never focus on mistakes.

Jonny Wilkinson scored the winning drop goal that won England the Rugby World Cup in 2003. A career defining moment but its what happened before that thats more special.

Jonny Wilkinson is a perfect role model and this episode is a perfect example of who you should be learning from.

Don’t just listen to this episode actually start applying it. The lessons from his career are fundamental due to the obstacles he was able to overcome to get there.

  • Disappointments happen to everyone and you can overcome it.
  • Mistakes are just what they are, mistakes and you shouldn’t dwell on it
  • Injuries can happen but you must learn to face your fears and battle past them
