Today’s episode of the pod is a special edition because in creating the podcast i thought – no better sample study than the Athlete Maestro resource itself.
As an athlete one question you should ask yourself is how do i change my behaviour as an athlete. This is becuase the process of improving always involves changing something.
If you used to be lazy then you’re trying to change that.
If your diet used to be crap then you’re trying to change that.
It goes without saying that you go through some steps in trying to change your behaviour as an athlete.
People take for granted the behavioural shift that needs to occur to be tagged a professional athlete. Growing up one is told, work hard, be open to learning, stay humble, remain teachable etc.
Whilst all the above values are fundamental, it can in its ambiguity take you as far.
Realising very early the importance of behaviourial transition in an athlete cannot be over emphasised. So ask yourself this “how do i change my behaviour as an athlete”. I hope you find that answer here.
In the pod we diccuss 5 stages you will encounter in when making the step up.
