Consistency is the hallmark of every great athlete. Great athletes are asking themselves how they can be consistent as an athlete while the average athletes don’t necessarily ask any questions at all.
After a great performance, the average athlete revels in how good the performance was and stops there. They don’t ask any further questions.
Enter the great athletes. After a good performance, apart from enjoying it, attention turns to how they can repeat that performance again.
Consequently, the question turns to how to be consistent as an athlete. How can i repeat this good performance over and over and over again.
And thats the difference.
To be considered good or great you have to put out good performances consistently. The more consistent your good performances are, the more confident you would become. And when you are more confident, the sky is just your starting point.
So, how do you become more consistent as an athlete?
The athlete in focus today is Mike Trout. American Baseball Player who is currently regarded as one of the best baseball players out there.
His greatness is largely determined by his consistency.
