Passionate about sports, back in 2010 I tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament in my right knee just as i was about to graduate from the University. I saw my career take a set back. I came back home after knee surgery, depressed and lacking direction.
What happened next totally shocked me. Only a few weeks into my rehabilitation (which was grueling) I started to notice things I never paid attention to before I got injured. They opened my eyes to a new side of achieving success in sports. I was inspired.
I began researching into these things I discovered. After all I had time on my hands, I was on crutches and could barely move around. I began to figure it out!
So I decided I had to do something different. I was inspired to help others like me, other athletes. It became more about them and less about me.
Being one who actively pursued a career in sports and enduring a career derailing injury I made a decision to devote my time to inspire other athletes to achieve their goals. The way I decided to do that was through Athlete Maestro. It was the path to get my message out. The Athlete Maestro Podcast idea was born and I have not looked back since.
Since then I have built relationships with influencers in the world of sports, some of them I had worked with before (and still continue to work with) and improved on the knowledge I had using the exact same techniques and lessons we now provide on the “Athlete Maestro Podcast”.
Through my own tribulations I had discovered the not so secret success formula for achieving success in sports and most importantly how to implement it. I am dedicated to helping other athletes along this path because i had no help myself. I had to figure many of it on my own. We could see many more success stories if only many were inspired to go after their dreams in life. That is my mission, that is my purpose.
I look forward to helping you through the podcast and my upcoming book “Athlete Maestro, Master your Craft”, as well as featuring your story on the podcast. The world is your oyster, it’s time to go and get it! And you will!
Host, Athlete Maestro.
Being an athlete is not easy, long trainings, psychologically preparing for the game, recovering from mistakes, injuries and failure, determining strategies to tackle tough situations, adjusting with each circumstance and game, collaborating with teammates, keeping positive before, during and after the game, just to name a few. I feel your pain in all of the above.
Kobe Bryant said “There’s a choice that we have to make as people…We can all become masters of our craft, but you have to make a choice. What I mean by that is the inherent sacrifices that come along with that"
Good news, if you are going through any of the above, you are not alone and you are in the right place I can help you focus on the rights things, change your career through improvements in your mindset as well as practical daily consistent actions to help you transform your levels of skill, focus and concentration, so you can perform at your best.
Through the Athlete Maestro podcast, we aim to help you master your craft as an athlete and live a truly fulfilling life inside and outside the world of sports.
It is my pleasure to be on this journey with you.
